Open Question: moving university for master degree?

Hi guys, I've just finished my Bachelor of Information Science majoring in Computer Science and IT. Now i have a choice to either continue my Hons years on my current university (Massey Uni, Auckland) or move to a better university (Auckland Uni). Well here is my question on my current university i can continue my study on it and gain Bachelor of information science hons, meanwhile on the better university I will be able to continue my study on Bachelor of Commerce majoring in IT. I don't really know whether i should stay or continue my master on the other university as on my current university i will learn broad understanding of IT, but I wont receive as much job opportunity and project as Auckland University. My question is would IT industry consider bachelor of commerce lower than bachelor of Information Science? And is it easy and manageable to adapt to new university environment (in term of working with supervisor) on the master year? Thanks for your help

Open Question: Do you think Maoris/Islanders is ruining New Zealand?

First of every, I'm not a racist. I know some people of these cultures are successful, but I'm talking about the majority. Statistics clearly show that they are more violent than other ethnics, as there is more domestic violence. Prisons are occupied with these people. Watch the news and you'll arrive into realisation . Quite frankly, I just don't know why. My brother got beat up at his primary school by these youth gangs. And I visited a pal in South Auckland, and I accidentally bumped into a Maori and he swore at me, pushed me and was probably going to punch me, if i didn't run away. Even though I'm sure we were both equally responsible, I repeatedly apologized. My mum got her handbag snatched from her by an Islander. Secondly, an overwhelming majority are unemployed. Most of them drop out of school with no qualifications, can't they just study for at least 1 year to receive at least some qualifications (NCEA)? I don't receive it, don't they realise the importance of their future, or do they simply not care..... hence the unemployment. A lot of them take transfer payments (benefits), from the government which is funded by tax payers money. There is an increasing trend, and I'm quite disappointed that a heap of our difficult earned cash goes to these people, who simply just sit in their homes doing nothing, except spending it on drugs (party much?). The government could spend it on more important stuff such as subsidies, new facilities such as hospitals and the Cancer Society (not funded by government) and other more important organisations etc. I think this is truly unhappy. I could go on for probably 1000+ more words raving about our society's reality,but I'm here for answers. So why do they do this? Do you think they're wrecking New Zealand?

Open Question: Choosing a good university in NZ?

Hey, I am from Malaysia and I am contemplating on choosing a good university in New Zealand . I am going to study Commerce majoring in Accounting and i wish that i will be Chartered Accountant one day. I am either going to Auckland University or Massey Uni in Auckland or AUT university. I heard that although Auckland Uni is a good school but the size of the univeristy is big and there are too many students and it will be too crowded. I wish to hear good responces especially from Kiwis and former students of the university.

Resolved Question: Auckland Graffiti and ghettos?

Hey. New Zealand has recently got google maps road view. Bascially it means you can look at the place from the streets and look every the houses up close and that. I have been told that parts of Auckland are ghetto: Otara, Manuwera, Mount Roskill etc. I looked at these and they don't even look that bad! No worse than some parts here on the Gold Coast. I have also been told that Auckland has heaps of graffiti. It doesn't appear to on this! Does Sydney have more in your opinion? Is Auckland not that bad afterall? I have been told it's a hole? Very confused? I know google maps is not really an indication of poverty and crime lol but it the areas didn't look that bad? Infact I saw people (WHITE PEOPLE!) walking around in the "ghettos". What is Auckland really like? Am I wrong in thinking it's a bad place? Thanks in advance :)

Voting Question: If you live near Auckland, could you tell me anything you know about this plaza?

I don't live in NZ but when I watch Power Rangers, I look this plaza being used often. I like that plaza. If I could arrive to New Zealand in the Auckland area I would visit that. But I've been trying to pinpoint that location but could never do so. im from new zealand... but i was just wondering why other countries always seem to accuse us of poaching players from the pacific islands. do people not realize that new zealand is a pacific island itself? do they not realize that nearly every player in the team was born in new zealand and that the ones that didnt were brought here from a very young age. you cant poach 3 year olds. theres more pacific islanders living or born in new zealand than in the places they originate from. the place im from(auckland) has the largest number of pacific islanders than any other place in the world. why do they accuse us of poaching?

Resolved Question: Can I use Air France airmiles with other airlines to fly to Aukland, New Zealand from Ottawa, Canada?

I have earned quite a few airmiles flying with Air France and KLM over the years and now I would like to purchase some tickets as a gift to my parents. The flying blue website lists Auckland as a possible destination but there are no available flights. It looks like both Air France and KLM do not offer air service to New Zealand. Do you have any suggestions for using my miles to receive from Ottawa, Canada to Aukland, New Zezland? The usual routing is Ottawa>Vancouver>Aukland. I go on google earth quite often and I was looking at Auckland last night. Just North of the North Shore there is like a penisula. It has lots of new houses on it and canals. It says it is called the Gulf Harbour. Also close there is Orewa, Red Beach, Manly, Still Water and Hatfields beach. My question is, for those who have been there, what is it like?
